Euphoria Sailing working with "The Hoff"

30th June 2009. We left Swansea marina aboard "Anka Point" Euphoria's 45ft Princess motor yacht at 08:45 for a 10am boarding of David Hasselhoff at Ilfracombe. Aboard was Tim Davies, myself (Peter Letheren) and Colin Davies (owner Anka Point). With an understanding of how busy working with the media can be we were all feeling apprehensive. The weather was looking good and the crossing was completed by 09:45, anchored in Ilfracombe outer harbour.

The Hoff, his daughters, Radio 1's Scott Mills and Summer Films Ltd Production team arrived a little later and were ferried out to us by RIB. Tourists in Ilfracombe had a morning to remember. We left for Croyde Bay and filming started straight away. Progress to Croyde was slow due to filming from the camera RIB and slowing down to reduce engine noise whilst interviewing. The program is being shown on Sky Living channel in September and I believe it encompasses David Hasselhoffs career and life. I can guarantee it will be worth watching.

Photo - Scott Mills, "The Hoff" and Tim Davies on the helm of Anka Point. Tim. The Hoff chatted with us with interest, shared some really good stories and was on fire with his work. He was awesome.

Photo - The Hoff and family watching Tim. After someone spotted the Wake board Tim gave us an amazing wake boarding demo on one of the biggest wakes possible. One jump cleared the wake completely and was filmed. Just can't wait to get the footage from Summer Films and hope this unique footage is included in the program.

Thanks to Summer films for their great feedback and the amazing work. Thanks to David and family for entertaining us. One hell of a guy.
Hi Peter,
I just wanted to write to thank you so much for yesterday. As happens a lot, I know the plan changed somewhat but all the guys said you were so, so helpful.

Once again, thanks for the great service you provided and hopefully we’ll work together again sometime.

Best regards,
Colin (Summer Films Ltd)
